Katelyn is best known as ‘Lilith’ in Fangoria’s PORNO (SXSW 2019), directed by Keola Racela and featuring Jillian Mueller (“The Crew”), Larry Saperstein (“High School Musical: The Musical - The Series”), and Robbie Tann (“Mare of Easttown”).
Formerly Katelyn Pearce, I decided to take a matrilineal name in honor of my grandmother. After twelve years in Brooklyn, I packed a pickup and moved my cat, Ripley (ALIENS, believe it or not), made a pit-stop in Atlanta, and found myself back in the place of my birth, Dallas, Texas. Soon after, I segued into screenwriting. The industry’s compelled commit to dogma or be cancelled culture is a cancer to artistic expression. I quit self censoring in the name of castability, and wrote my first feature screenplay, RED MOON (Logline: When a young woman unknowingly syncs with the full moon cycle, like a werewolf, her deepest wound bleeds open), which I’m adapting into a metaphorical memoir. My second feature, BOUNTY HUNTER CROSSING: a Gender Critical Dystopia critiquing the bipartisan assault on women’s rights, is nearly complete.

Born in Dallas and raised in Michigan, I came to Brooklyn by way of Chicago. Shortly after arriving to NYC, I co-created the hit digital series “SO, SOHA.” Starring as ‘Jenna’ and serving as Executive Producer, earning nominations for Best Newcomer, Best Supporting Actress as well as Best Producer at multiple film festivals across two seasons. I’ve appeared in episodes of Showtime’s “BILLIONS,” Hulu’s “THE PATH” and “LIMITLESS” for CBS.
My latest film work includes the horror feature DON’T LOOK BACK, directed by Jeffrey Reddick (FINAL DESTINATION), and THE MAN BEHIND THE CAMERA starring Matthew Lawrence.
